Growing up, my mom always told me that there would always be someone smarter, faster, and better than I am. But if I worked hard, nothing and no one could stop me from reaching my goals. Life is truly a blank slate for you to become whomever you want, as long as you're willing to take that first step. And life has so much to offer. Sure, there are obstacles, but that makes reaching goals even more rewarding.

I feel lucky to have the experiences I have had and to be able to share them here as a form of creativity and expression. This is a blog about my loves - my husband, my dog, my life, and science. I love approaching new things with an open mind and heart. I am excited to detail my life and relationship here through the things I love and the things I hope you love too! I hope this incites discussion, thought, and maybe even change.
